As Mynydd Ty-talywn Energy Park is classed as a Development of National Significance (DNS) – a type of planning application for a large infrastructure project of national importance, the planning application process will be dealt by Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW), on behalf of the Welsh Government.

The Pre-Application Consultation period was held 26 April – 8 June 2025. This was the final consultation before we submitted our plans to PEDW.

We hosted three in-person consultation events:

• Cefn Cribwr Athletic Club, CF32 0BA: 29^th April 2025, 4pm – 8pm 
• Llangynwyd Village Hall, CF34 9SW: 30^th April 2025, 11:30am – 2:30pm
• Coytrahen Community Centre, CF32 0EB: 30^th April 2025, 4:30-8:30pm
